چکیده

The Balunikum IC includes two phase splitters for the frequency range of 1-30 GHz. It proved that one of the two operates well. At 30 GHz the simulated mismatch between the two outputs is 0.8 dB and 6.5 degrees. The circuit is realised in the QUBiC4X IC process. The power consumption of the test circuit was measured to be 27 mA from a 3V supply. Conclusions:-A test IC with two phase splitters was realised. The phase split-ter with standard output buffers operated perfect, the open collector output buffers of the other one failed.-The measured |S21| (rel. to 50Ω) dropped from 15 dB at 5 GHz to 8 dB at 20 GHz, the reverse transfer was less than –30 dB. That fits to simulation results.
